Dakkar Taso Tseachu Chenmo to be held in O Sal Choling Monastery on 24th February 2010. Many followers of Dakkar Taso Tradition will be attending the ceremony. There will be a yearly meeting of DTRPC's held on 25th of February 2010.

On 21 and 22 February 2010 there will be a Vajrayogini puja and consecreation puja of the Vajrayogini mandala. Our nuns from Dephuet Dronme nunnery and Longtrang Rinchen Pungpa nunnery will also join. There will be a Mahakala puja and a short Lama Dance "Cham" on 23rd of February 2010.

This years annual puja is starting on 10th of January 10 and will last until 13th of January 10. Gutrul Shitro Narak Dongtruk will be performed. There will be lama dance at the end.

Tsum Nile Ladrang and Longtrang Rinchen Pungpa are jointly celebrating the 750th Anniversary of Longtrang Rinchen Pungpa Monastery from 18th September 09 to 29th September 09. On the 18th and 19th September there will be preparation prayers and from 20th to 26th of September will be actual prayers. On 27th there will be the blessing prayers and on 28th there will be Cham (Lama Dance) of the eight manifestation of Guru Rinpoche. There will be an empowerment, conclusion and distribution of the blessings of the prayers on 29th September 09. It is estimated to be attended by about hundred plus monks and nuns and about seven hundred audiences on 27, 28 and 29th of September 09.

On 25th July 09 (the day of Buddha's turning the wheel of Dharma) Rinpoche, Lama Yeshi along with the nuns of Dephuet Dronme Monastery performed a week long retreat prayer of Vajrasattva. In the end of the prayer a special Jangchok (liberating rituals for the deceased) was performed. It is performed following the Mindrolling Terchen Gyurmey Dorji's Terma.

Rinpoche leaves for Tsum on early 9th of July. He needs to prepare lots of things for the celebration of the 750 anneversary of Longtrang Rinchen Pungpa Monastery and he also has to attend a celebration of Lord Buddha's first sermon Day (25th July).

On 2nd July 09 being 10th of fifth month of tibetan calender we celebrated Guru Rinpoche's birthday by making a feast offering through "Kuncho Chindu" puja. Even Nile Ladrang in Tsum is also holding a feast offering puja to mark the birthday of Guru Rinpoche.

The long waited 3D vajra yogini mandala has been completed. The painting of the mandala was recently completed by the painters. The mandala was then fixed on the table where it was supposed to reside.

TB awarness programme was held in the monastery on 9th March 09. The programme was very sucessful because all the nuns from Tsum, residing monks of Godawari get to know about the precaution, prevention, symtoms etc about the disease.

3DVajrayogini Madala built in wood is finished and brought to th monastery. It is in painting process and will be completed soon. The consecretion will be after the Losar 09.

Annual puja for 2008 has been performed. The puja lasted for a week long and there was a lama dance performed in the end.

A branch clinic of Tsum Shenphen Clinic is brought into operation since 1st September 08. It was built in the lower Tsum at a place called Domche. It was started building since end of 2006. The building was funded by SEEDS, Nepal. Dr. Ani Kunsang is in Charge of the clinic and she is also teaching and training 3 small nuns.

O Sal Choling Godawari Monastery is performing a week long puja. This puja is performed in the end of each year to confess the mistakes and unvirtues deeds of the past and to clarify the obsticals of the coming year. It will be performing from 18th Jan to 24th Jan 09. There will be a lama mask dance in the end of the puja.

On the 17th of this month we are starting a Rain retreat. It will be as usual which has been done in all the Buddhist monasteries since the time of the Buddha. The monks will follow the rules of the rain retreat as mentioned in the Vinaya sutra.

5th August is the day of the lord Buddha's first sermon or the day of turning the wheel of Dharma for the first time. On this very special day we are performing the Thousand offering Puja. We will be dedicating the merits for the World peace and good will of all the friends, well wishers, supporters etc. Similar puja will also be performed in Tsum. 

We are very regretful that the VV Master Ching Hsin was unable to visit Godawari Monastery due to his health problem. We wish he can have a very sucessful visit to Nepal in the future. 

Very Venerable Master Ching Hsin from Taiwan is visiting O Sal Choling Godawari Monastery on 20th of June. There is a programme of the feast offering Puja and some life releases of the birds. It is organized by the Guru Ranak Rinpoche Trust founded by Ranak Rinchen Rinpoche and supported by O Sal Choling Godawari Monastery.

This month of tibetan calender(4th Jun-3rd July)is a very special month for the Buddhist as the birth, enlightenment and mahaparinirvana day of Budhha falls in this month. So, on the full moon day (18 June)of this month we have planned to do Thousand offerings to accumulate the merits of offering on this special day for the benefit of all the satient beings and for the peaceful enviroment everywhere.
